The five-door Fit is the more flexible and more energetic of the two, while the tiny smart car offers better fuel economy, turns more heads and fits in even more parking spaces.

A car powered by natural gas topped an annual
list of "greenest" 2007 model vehicles released Tuesday, while
Volkswagen's diesel version of its Touareg SUV topped the "meanest"
list for least environmentally friendly vehicles.

Honda's
Civic GX, a $25,000 natural gas vehicle sold in California and New
York, stood atop the "greenest" list, beating all gasoline-electric
hybrids based on a "green score" derived from fuel economy as well as
health and global warming impacts.

Natural
gas is a much cleaner burning fuel than gasoline, but it is also much
harder to find for refueling. As a result, Honda is also selling a
refueling pump for homes with a natural gas connection........

Cadillac CTS Coupe

GM is doing great again. has its advantages, chief among them that it works. In fact, the
gasoline engine does a good job of offering power for the dollar, which
is why Americans settled on gasoline as their fuel of choice a century
ago. For all the knocks on it, gasoline has a variety of advantages: it
packs a lot of energy for its volume and weight, it's transportable,
and it is available at a price that makes it accessible to the masses.
In addition, the entire gasoline-based infrastructure works, from
getting oil out of the ground to making gasoline available at a
convenient pump very near when you are right now. There currently is no
better alternative.

Gasoline Car Highs and Lows: What's your opinion?

For all the time and money being spent to end its reign, gasoline is still king. Are increased CO2 levels causing global warming, or is global warming causing increased CO2 levels? Which is greener, hybrid or diesel power?

Welcome to KBB Green Forums, created to take advantage of the simple truth that the more questions we ask, the more answers we get. Kelley Blue Book has been helping car buyers make informed purchase decisions for more than 80 years, and now you get to play a more direct role in that mission than ever. With gas prices and environmental consciousness at all-time highs, and vehicle propulsion technologies in an unprecedented state of flux, the decision to launch our first forums in conjunction with our all-new KBB Green section was an easy one.

So go ahead and dive right in. Ask a question, contribute an answer or just start a conversation. Wherever we decide to go, we'll get there more quickly together.
